We at Classical Concerts Productions are passionate about the positive role that the intercultural dialogue and cultural exchange between Bulgarian and British artists can have in terms of creating sustainable and prolific cultural relations between the two countries. The aim of the CCP Friends and Patrons is to create a support network, which will encourage such relations and help take live music performed and composed by both up-and-coming and more established artists to wider audiences in the UK.
Here are just some of the ways CCP Friends and Patrons can help:
The London Festival of Bulgarian Culture (LFBC) that we organize is an excellent example of our determination to promote the Bulgarian Musical Heritage in the UK, bringing across artists of the highest international level and collaborating with performers and composers already established in the London musical scene. Performing at top venues such as at the South Bank, London and other top venues is vital for the role of the LFBC to present these artists to wider audiences.
Despite their high profile these concerts rarely pay for themselves and that’s why Friends and Patrons can help provide crucial support for such events, the cost of which run into thousands of pounds. Here are a few examples of areas where we need your support:
- Cost of hiring a concert venue (between £1000 and £2000)
- Cost of travel and accommodation for the invited overseas artists
- Printing, design and distribution of leaflets and other publicity
We need your support!
As a classical music company operating in today’s challenging financial climate, we must constantly look for new ways to support our activities so that we can be in a strong enough position to make possible the kind of concerts and projects that we believe in.
To achieve this, we need friends and patrons!
